How to repair induction cooktop? How to Repair E0 Error in Induction Cooktop? Why does your induction cooktop show an E0 error?

How to repair induction cooktop? How to Repair E0 Error in Induction Cooktop? Why does your induction cooktop show an E0 error? : If you have any questions from the above questions then you will get answers here. Nowadays the use of induction cooktops has increased a lot, so it is obvious that there will be problems with induction cooktops too. E0 error occurs most commonly in an induction cooktop. Error in induction cooktops is not a standard, it varies from brand to brand and model to model.

An induction cooker is known by different names like induction cooker, induction cooktop, induction stove, induction stove, etc.

No Heating Problem in Induction Cooktop

The coil, cooling fan, control board, and power board these 4 parts are used in the induction cooker. And the body of the induction cooker to fit them all. The biggest problem comes with the power board of the induction cooker.

So we understand about the power board of the induction cooker. If there is a fault in the power board of the induction cooker, the induction cooker shows an error message above the display.

If you use an induction cooker then you must have faced an E0 error at some point in time in the induction cooktop.

There can be many reasons for the E0 error. If you read this post completely then your E0 error problem will definitely be solved. Before that, you should also know that the error message in an induction cooker may vary from brand to brand. If you will read this post completely then only you will be able to understand the E0 error of induction cooktop very well.

This post on induction cooktops is going to be very useful for users and technicians.

If you do not place a vessel on top of the induction cooker, an E0 error will appear on the induction cooker display. The induction cooker should always be based on an induction cooktop or used as stainless steel utensils. If you keep aluminum or any other metal vessel, your induction cooker will not sense it and will show an E0 error.

There can be many reasons for the problem of E0 in an induction cooker.

10 reasons for E0 error in induction cooktop

1) If there are no utensils on the induction cooktop then the induction cooker will show an E0 error

2) The E0 error occurs when the 5uf/400Volt box-type capacitor is faulty. Sometimes the 5uf/400volt and 0.3uf/1200volt box type capacitors get defective, even these capacitors are faulty showing the induction cooker E0 error, so you should check these capacitors.

Sometimes 5uf/400v capacitor in an induction cooktop gets damaged frequently and there can be two reasons for this

i) Capacitors can be duplicate, sometimes duplicate material is found in the market, due to which the capacitors of induction cookers get defective again and again, I too had to face this type of problem many times.

ii) Such a problem arises due to a faulty bridge rectifier.

3) The main reason for the E0 error in an induction cooker is the opening of the 1/2watt or 1watt voltage divider resistor, which has a value of 220k, 270k, 330k, 390k, 470k, or 820k among them.

4) If there is an IGBT short between the gate and source pin then at that time also your inductance will show an E0 error.

5) Some manufacturers use a reverse bias 18-volt Zener diode between the IGBT gate and the source. If this Zener diode becomes short, your induction cooker will show an E0 error.

6) Induction cooktop will show an E0 error even when the gate resistor of the IGBT of the induction cooktop is open.

7) The driver of the induction cooktop shows an E0 error even when the transistor is faulty. Whose numbers are 8050 and 8550 or 3904 and 3906.

8) In the induction cooker, the driver section does not get 18 volts from the SMPS section, even then the induction cooker E0 error appears.

9) The preset used in induction cooktops is usually 500 ohms. Sometimes this preset gets open or its value changes. Because of this also there is a problem with the E0 error in the induction cooktop.

10) Sometimes the coil terminals of the induction cooker get burnt due to looseness or carbon getting on them, due to which also the problem of E0 error occurs in the induction cooker.
